Prof. Yansong WANG, Dean, Vice President of Shanghai University of Engineering Science

Vehicle NVH and Control

Research Experience:

He obtained some achievements in the fields of vehicle dynamics, noise & vibration and control, especially in the aspects of vehicle NVH, environmental noise control, acoustical material measurement, and muffler design. In recent years, he undertook more than 30 projects, which were supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Ministry of Education of China, Shanghai Science Committee, Department of Science and Technology of Liaoning Province. As results, he obtained 14 national patents and 7 academic awards. He has been cooperated with some Korean, Japanese and Russian experts and finished four international projects, such as “Engine Noise Examining System”, “Impedance Tube for Acoustical Materials”, and “Environmental Noise Monitoring System”. He published more than 140 papers in some international journals, such as the Journal of Sound and Vibration, Applied Acoustics, Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing, etc., in which 47 papers were cited by the Science Citation Index databases.
